Roscoe the Dog needs a home

ROSCOE is a 6-7 year old Redtick Coonhound. He is a handsome gentleman who is looking for a new home due to some changes in his family makeup that were hard for him to cope (mainly a move and a new baby). Roscoe was brought up in the mountains of Virginia and enjoyed hiking in the foothills. He is looking for a dog oriented family who will include him in activities. Roscoe easily converts to couch potato mode indoors and will happy lay at your feet while you work from home, cook etc. Roscoe gets along GREAT with other dogs and also lived with a cat. He is wary of toddler sized children and their unpredictable movements and would do best in a home with older kids. Roscoe is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and in heartworm prevention. He was very well cared for in his former home and will  a wonderful addition to a hound loving family.
